Prodenco Group Inc was founded as the Sioux City Dental Laboratory by Robert Weldon in 1917. In October of 1952 - Dave Watkins acquired the laboratory and changed the name to Professional Dental Company. The laboratory we then located in the Frances Building in downtown Sioux City.

Since then we have made what we believe is good progress. From the four man venture of 1952, the Company has today become a corporation with four divisions offering complete dental laboratory services to the dental professional and medical-office practice management and accounting systems related to the healing arts.

In 1970, Jaeger Dental Company in Grand Island, Nebraska was acquired into the group, which enabled us to broaden the area we serve. The Jaeger Dental Laboratory was founded in 1937 by Forrest Jaeger and also offers complete laboratory services to the dental profession. In 1973, Prodenco Systems and Services was added to the mix, providing professional office accounting and records management systems as enhancement to our close ties to the dental profession.

In 1983, Billings Dental Laboratories of Omaha, Nebraska was acquired into the group, broadening our market into the southwest Iowa and southeast Nebraska territories. Billings is also a "full service" provider of prosthetic services and was founded by Dr. Albert Billings in 1888. As we enter the 21st Century, we are proud to say we are a company of 75+employees, encompassing 2 dentists, 10+ CDT’s and a large percentage of 10-25 year employees. The management core and the direction of the company, has never been clearer or brighter!
